Position Overview
Heiser's Collision Center in West Allis is seeking an experienced and motivated Collision/Body Shop Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of auto body repair operations while ensuring the highest level of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and inspect all auto body repair work to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met
  • Verify insurance coverage and approved repairs for customers
  • Document completed work and manage the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies
  • Forecast departmental goals and objectives and drive performance to meet them
  • Collaborate effectively with all dealership departments
  • Partner with the Service Manager to ensure timely parts availability
  • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the body shop
  • Hire, train, coach, motivate, and evaluate body shop employees
  • Schedule and direct daily activities of all body shop staff
  • Provide technical support and guidance to technicians
  • Conduct regular team meetings to improve communication and efficiency
  • Monitor payroll and labor costs
  • Establish, enforce, and monitor customer service guidelines
  • Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Develop pricing policies that balance profitability, customer loyalty, and operational costs
  • Attend management meetings as required
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Valid and clean Wisconsin Driver's License
  • Previous auto shop or collision center experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
