Job description

Production Supervisor – Stamping & Welding (2nd and 3rd Shift)

Full-Time | Base Salary + Overtime Eligible After 40 Hours

We are currently seeking Production Supervisors with strong experience in stamping and welding operations for our 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM).
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in metal stamping, hands-on leadership, experience in a union environment (required), and a proven track record of improving performance and reducing changeover times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily production targets are achieved for stamping and welding operations.

  • Maintain machines, presses, tools, and auxiliary equipment in optimal operating condition.

  • Ensure operators understand job responsibilities, quality expectations, and housekeeping standards.

  • Conduct periodic operator and process audits, including quality checks.

  • Manage and review technical documentation as required.

  • Support operator training and help identify development needs.

  • Respond to equipment issues and lead effective troubleshooting and resolution.

  • Communicate production concerns, delays, or anomalies to the Area Leader promptly.

  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality Management System requirements.

  • Uphold company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in a unionized manufacturing environment.

  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.

  • Clear communication, coaching, and follow-up skills.

  • Specific:

  • Hands-on experience in stamping, tooling, welding, and/or welded assembly operations.
