Company Description

Exact Tool & Die, Inc. is a private, family-owned company specializing in precision die construction, metal stampings, and assemblies. With more than 40 years of experience, the company supports OEM and Tier 1 customers with concepts, engineering changes, and CAD support for major automotive programs and launches.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Properly set up and operate the Stamping Press and Feed line.
  • Responsible for setting up and operating press machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production.
  • Review blueprints, work orders, and job specifications to follow the correct setup sequence
  • Complete the various verification procedures and all preventative maintenance requirements-daily, weekly, and monthly for the machine.
  • Ensure all proper housekeeping is completed for all parts and surrounding area of the machine.
  • Ensure all safety requirements are maintained while setting up, running and maintaining this piece of equipment.
  • Works with all other plant personnel to ensure efficient operation of the plant.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year manufacturing machine operation experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to work well as a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools, machinery, and equipment
  • Ability to see and hear in an industrial environment
  • Ability to tolerate noise, machinery, and industrial equipment
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all parts of machinery

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical or vocational school training preferred

Experience:

  • Multiple years of experience as a press setup and operator required
