A Stair Installer is responsible for measuring, cutting, and assembling staircases in residential and commercial buildings. They work with materials like wood, metal, or concrete to ensure stairs are safe, level, and up to code. The job requires knowledge of blueprints, construction techniques, and the use of hand and power tools. Stair Installers may also repair or replace existing staircases as part of renovations or upgrades.
A typical day for a Stair Installer involves reviewing blueprints or measurements, preparing materials, and assembling or installing staircases at residential or commercial sites.
