Overview

Lead Stair Installation Technician & CDL-Exempt Delivery Driver

Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime and additional hours based on business needs
Compensation: $75,000 annually (Non-Exempt | Overtime Eligible)

Earn a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Join our team and receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus, paid over three years:

  • $5,000 after 12 months
  • $5,000 after 24 months
  • $5,000 after 36 months

Employee must be actively employed on each payout date to receive the bonus.

This position is designed for someone who enjoys working in the field and takes pride in producing quality craftsmanship. Although deliveries are part of the job, the primary responsibility is installing custom stair systems at residential and commercial construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our installation team, you will:

  • Install custom-built straight and curved stair systems
  • Interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications
  • Measure, cut, level, shim, and fasten stair components using professional-grade tools
  • Deliver materials safely to construction sites using a 26-foot box truck
  • Load and unload stair components weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Support warehouse operations when needed
  • Maintain organized, safe, and professional work areas throughout each project
Required Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in framing, finish carpentry, woodworking, or stair installation (Required)
  • Proficiency using saws, drills, levels, measuring tools, and other carpentry equipment
  • Experience interpreting construction drawings or installation layouts
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • A current DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in outdoor construction environments
