Job Summary:

The Staging Coordinator is responsible for organizing and coordinating the preparation of orders for delivery, ensuring that all required paperwork and documentation is in order, and verifying the accuracy of all orders before they are loaded onto delivery vehicles. The Staging Coordinator works closely with the distribution team to ensure that all orders are staged and loaded efficiently and on time, while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate the preparation of orders for delivery.
  • Compile required driver paperwork, including driver load sheets, invoices, and METRC manifests.
  • Routinely verify orders against invoices and METRC manifests.
  • Load delivery vans with orders, ensuring all items are properly secured.
  • Maintain accurate records of all orders staged and loaded for delivery.
  • Work closely with delivery drivers to ensure all orders are loaded on time and in the correct sequence.
  • Review the Daily Delivery Log and verify that all orders are staged and ready on time.
  • Accurately separate orders by service zone and delivery day using wheeled and fixed racks to manage next-day and longer-term deliveries.
  • Track and verify order rejections/returns and coordinate with the necessary departments to process them.
  • Communicate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the order staging and loading process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Abide by all company policies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with cannabis products and adhering to all applicable regulations.
  • Knowledge of METRC manifests is preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in order staging, logistics, or a related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and other manufacturing conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Must be physically capable of sitting or standing for long periods or entire shifts.
  • Must be capable of repetitive motion using hands and arms.
  • Must have full use of arms, hands, and fingers for fine manipulation of cannabis, making boxes, and applying compliance stickers.

Work Schedule (Non-Exempt):

This position is scheduled on a full-time basis. Specific shift times and workdays are determined by the operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, and workdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Whenever feasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided.
