Technical Writer
Location: Chandler, Arizona (Hybrid)
Role Overview
A Technical Writer is sought to work with development and product managers, engineers, technical trainers, and other technical writers to create and refine technical documentation. The role requires a hands-on approach to the technology and products being documented. The objective is to enhance and expand current documentation, providing a variety of learning tools for customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Translate technical information into clear, concise, and effective documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assist in defining documentation standards, style, and terminology.
  • Deliver post-sales content for online documentation and provide UI text for UX and Engineering staff.
  • Integrate graphics and illustrations to improve documentation quality and usability.
  • Work cross-functionally with SMEs in Engineering, Field Support, Sales, Training, and Product Marketing.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communications, or a related field is required. Technical writing or communications certifications are also acceptable.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing is necessary.
Technical Skills: The position requires hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence. Candidates should possess strong oral, written, analytic, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in writing online help and knowledge base articles.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in network and/or cloud security is a plus.
