Reliable MicroSystems is seeking a Staff Engineer II with an Electrical Engineering degree and work experience that can be directly brought to bear on complex technical problems. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, as well as a member of a team, to achieve a defined goal. Tasks may include integrated circuit design, integrated circuit layout, and/or radiation effects failure analysis. Candidates should be able to present results to of their work to members of management or customers of Reliable MicroSystems.

Requirements:

· BS degree with 2+ years experience, or MS degree

· Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance required for this role


Position Tasks

· Performs engineering tasks of moderate to high complexity as directed by project or program manager.

· Ensures that tasks are completed correctly and on time.


Position Description

Provides a thorough knowledge of a related discipline as a technical specialist. Performs technical work on designated project or projects as directed. Possesses an engineering degree and work experience that can be directly brought to bear on complex technical problems for ultimate solution, including but not limited to computer science, electrical engineering, or radiation effects expertise. Upon technical direction, works independently to achieve applicable solutions. Tasks may include original source code development, integrated circuit design, integrated circuit layout, and/or radiation effects failure analysis. Presents results to management in coherent and defensible way. Documents results in presentation and written form, including briefing charts and report documents.
