Job description

Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic Care Staff for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts!
Calyx is looking to hire NOW Care Staff to assist and provide direction to residents with personal care needs, including but not limited to monitoring self-administration of medication, insuring resident hygiene, obtaining and recording residents' vital signs, maintaining safety of residents, completing incident reports, assisting with meal services and observing residents for any changes in conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Caregiver experience strongly preferred
  • Must have compassion and a desire to work with seniors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families
  • Ability to adapt to each resident and setting
  • Reliable, responsive and attentive
  • 18 years or older with a demonstrated maturity
  • Must be available to work weekends
