Primary Function:

Under the direction of the Merchandise Manager, the Merchandise Supervisor assists with retail managerial procedures at Angel Stadium.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Supervise & lead a staff of up to 10 people.
  • Be an aid for certain outside functions for Angels events (i.e. Training Camp, Fan Fest, Family Day, etc.).
  • Assist with reporting, nightly business and any other reports as needed.
  • Assist with identifying problematic issues and concerns.
  • Maximize both employee and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with check-in/check-out procedure as necessary.
  • Learn and train others to effectively produce customized jerseys and Hat customization.
  • Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Prepare retail locations for events and game day operations.
  • Work with visual displays and merchandising of stands. Setting up displays to best attract customers' attention.
  • Train others to use the POS system.
  • Assist with counting and overseeing inventory levels.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience a plus.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
  • Highly motivated with a pleasant and upbeat attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced team setting in addition to work independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with operating Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work fluently in English and bi-lingual skills are a plus.
  • Must be flexible to work all Angel Stadium events, including late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work long periods of time with constant standing, walking and lifting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some College preferred
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace

Physical Requirements:

Constant standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, reaching, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Working Conditions:

Location: On-Site at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $21.07 Part-Time Seasonal
