Job description

The Ballpark Operations Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the ballpark. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day upkeep of the facility, preparing the venue for baseball games and special events, and working with contractors to ensure all areas of the venue are properly maintained.
This is a hands-on position that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented facility while supporting all operational aspects of the organization.
Non-Baseball Events:
• Assist with the daily maintenance, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the stadium, grounds, and surrounding property
• Perform routine maintenance including pressure washing, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep
• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of stadium signage, furniture and equipment
• Monitor the condition of the facility and report maintenance issues requiring additional attention
• Oversee inventory and ordering of operational supplies
• Help maintain compliance with safety standards
• Assist with offseason projects, capital improvements, and facility enhancement initiatives
• Ensure seating areas, concourses, suites, restrooms, and premium spaces are event-ready
• Assist Hosted Events Manager as needed including set-up and tear down for concerts, community events, festivals, and other special events
• Assist Food and Beverage Director with equipment upkeep and overall cleanliness of Food and Beverage areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
Rawhide Baseball Games:
  • Respond to operational needs during games to help ensure a positive guest experience
  • Coordinate stadium waste and recycling operations to support efficient event turnover and facility presentation
  • Oversee venue maintenance team and ushers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Preferred background in ballpark operations or venue management
  • Previous experience in facility maintenance, stadium operations, or a related field is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Have a strong work ethic & dedication and assist with other game-day activities as assigned
  • Ability to work long hours including weekends, holidays & evenings for baseball games & non-baseball events
