Senior UX/UI Designer
Department: Digital Marketing
Direct Supervisor: VP, Ecommerce & Digital Product
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Senior UX/UI Designer will play a critical role in shaping best-in-class fan and customer experiences across our digital platforms, which include websites and native apps for the Miami Dolphins, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and the Miami Open. The Senior UX/UI Designer will lead efforts to optimize design for ticket sales, engagement, and overall user satisfaction, ensuring our platforms reflect the premium experience our brands represent.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development:
    • Create wireframes, low-fidelity, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma to conceptualize and prototype innovative digital experiences.
    • Design and enhance web pages, landing pages, and app interfaces to improve purchase flows and fan engagement.
    • Build and maintain templates for consistent design across platforms.
    • Ensure all designs comply with accessibility standards and maintain visual consistency.
  • Research & Innovation:
    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions that enhance conversion rates and engagement.
    • Leverage analytics, A/B testing, and heatmaps to continuously improve performance and conversion.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging tools and technologies to innovate fan-centric experiences.
    • Develop solutions to complex user experience challenges, aligned with the goals of multiple business units.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams, including the Brand, Sales, IT, and Compliance teams, to deliver seamless digital experiences.
    • Collaborate with the content team to set the digital strategy for multiple lines of business across Web and App.
    • Set design direction and contribute to the digital product roadmap by collaborating on feature enhancements and system integrations.
    • Lead design brainstorming sessions and provide constructive feedback to internal and external teams.
  • Documentation & Systems:
    • Develop and maintain design systems and best practices to ensure scalability and consistency.
    • Document design processes and collaborate closely with developers for a smooth handoff.
    • Optimize information architecture to create intuitive navigation and content structures.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in sports, entertainment, or eCommerce industries.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience designing for ticketing platforms or eCommerce workflows is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the UX design process, usability principles, responsive design, and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics or Hotjar to measure the impact of design improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and an understanding of front-end development workflows.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Wrike or Jira
