Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced BAS / Controls Project Manager for a direct hire opportunity supporting installation and commissioning projects within airports, secure facilities, hospitals, data centers, and other live critical environments.

Responsibilities
  • Manage BAS/DDC controls projects from kickoff through commissioning
  • Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project operations
  • Oversee scheduling, materials procurement, labor tracking, startup, and change orders
  • Support phased work, shutdowns, and off-hours/night work execution as required
  • Review submittals, controls drawings, installation sequencing, and commissioning activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, owners, and inspectors
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, security requirements, and facility access procedures
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of BAS, controls, HVAC, or mechanical project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of DDC controls installation, HVAC systems, and controls integration
  • Experience working in airports, secure facilities, hospitals, data centers, or other live critical environments preferred
  • Familiarity with BAS platforms such as Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls (JCI), Honeywell, or Schneider Electric
  • Strong leadership, scheduling, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security badging and/or facility clearance requirements
