Overview

Responsibilities

Provide field service support for ANDRITZ WLP equipment, including lime kiln diagnostics, alignments, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.

Develop expertise in diagnostic tools and software used for kiln analysis.

Present and promote ANDRITZ WLP products and services, with a focus on lime kilns and auxiliary equipment.

Collaborate with customers to identify, justify, and develop upgrade and service projects.

Collaborate with Service Account Managers to enhance customer relationships.

Build strong working relationships with global product teams in Finland.

Occasionally manage labor crews during turnkey shutdowns or provide advisory field service.

Identify emerging market needs and support development of new products and services.

Principal Duties

Lead all technical and commercial aspects of assigned projects.

Develop and manage project schedules and budgets with both local and remote team members.

Ensure project execution aligns with established procedures.

Coordinate with engineering to complete required designs.

Oversee delivery milestones and ensure timely production of project deliverables.

Negotiate commercial and technical terms with subcontractors in collaboration with purchasing.

Track subcontractor performance for schedule and quality compliance.

Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers at all levels.

Analyze and address project quality issues and customer concerns promptly.

Prepare and issue monthly project status reports.

Resolve project challenges while preserving positive customer relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent), or 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, equipment design, project execution, product management, maintenance, or pulp and paper mill operations.

Experience with lime kilns or recausticizing systems is a plus.

Design/drafting experience (e.g., AutoCAD) is a plus.

Strong project management skills (schedule, budget, quality, customer satisfaction).

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Strong initiative, selfmanagement, and goalorientation, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Ability to identify market needs and support the development of products and services that address those needs.

Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and drive urgency when required.

Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.

Ability and willingness to travel (25-50% within the U.S. and Canada).

Physical and Mental Qualifications

Position performed in an office and/or remote home office environment. Frequent visits to paper mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, remote controlled devices using radio

signals. Physical conditions for position: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment. All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
