Status: Full Time
Salary: $47,008 - $50,000 annually

What You'll Do
Case Management & Client Support
  • Manage a caseload of foster care cases, providing ongoing support and advocacy
  • Build relationships with children, caregivers, and families to support stability and well-being
  • Offer guidance, referrals, and mentoring to those involved in each case

Placement Coordination & Court Involvement
  • Coordinate initial placements and any necessary changes in placement
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, providing updates and documentation
  • Support children and caregivers through transitions with hands-on involvement

Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with referral sources, courts, agencies, and community organizations
  • Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders involved in each case
  • Advocate for appropriate services and support systems

Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and timely case records, reports, and required documentation
  • Track client progress and ensure compliance with all program and regulatory standards
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human services field required
  • State of Michigan licensure preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in child welfare preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic caseload
Additional Requirements
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a good driving record
  • Reliable personal transportation and current automobile insurance
  • Willingness to participate in a 24-hour on-call support system as needed
