Job description

SSAS Developer

Location: Houston TX

Position type: contract (6 months +)

Rate: DOE

Interview: Ph/skype US citizen, Green Card, EAD and TN visa preferred.

Job Description:

  • 8 years of experience working in BI projects and actively participating in designing ETL and dashboards. Expertise in data analysis and performance management.
  • Experience with Microsoft BI Stack with focus on SSAS (PowerBI, SSIS, SSAS, SQL 2016/2017)
  • Should have experience with MDX / Multidimensional Cubes
  • Knowledge on VSTS / GIT
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Project Role:

  • BI consultant reports to the DR Application Manager. BI consultant tasks will include the following but not be restricted to:
  • Assessment/recommendation on servers configuration and sizing (the Production Server will be already installed but we would like to have a second view, analyses on the server sizing)
  • Create Cubes on SSAS from tables available on Oracle database.
  • Support on security configuration for accessing the server and the dashboard.
  • Documentation of all tasks executed and how to maintain existing cubes.
  • Supporting development of PowerBI dashboards using Cubes.
  • Knowledge Transfer to DR team
