Location: Atlanta / Dallas

Duration: 4 Month contract

Job Description:

To assist client with setup a new GMSC (Gateway Mobile Switching Centre) in the European market. This includes network design of SS7 and Sigtran network routing and MSISDN setup. 1. We want to build out a Gateway MSC function in Europe. 2. European MSISDNs, once allocated by the appropriate regulator will be homed on the GMSC 3. The numbers will be activated via an API call from a customer's back office to an IT function which will oversee the activation of the MSISDNs into the GMSC and associated SS7 nodes 4. The deliverable will be an architecture document, description of the SS7 network connectivity, an implementation & test plan and end to end flows for: a. Allocation of the numbers provided by the regulator and loading them onto the GMSC b. Provisioning the SS7 Relay Point (SRP) with the {IMSI, MSISDN, HLR-Number} information that associates the subscriber with the HLR (i.e., for mobile-terminated call purposes). c. Provisioning a Diameter Routing Database with the {MSISDN, Diameter-Realm, Diameter-Hostname} information that associates a subscriber number with an HSS The design will be produced with cooperation between client network team and our selected vendor for the GMSC.
