Location: 1 Washington Street, Newark, NJ 07102
Duties: Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to translate requirements into technology specifications and drive the execution of software development from design to deployment. Manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams (technology, business, marketing, and operations) using an Agile development framework, from concept to launch. Communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives transparently to all stakeholders and teams. Continuously strive for performance improvement and set higher standards in project execution using objective metrics. Position is fixed location based in Newark, NJ office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field plus ten (10) years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or a related occupation which involves working with a wide range of technology platforms utilizing software engineering skills and project management to deliver complex solutions for customers.
Experience may be gained concurrently and must include:
Ten (10) years in the following:
- Managing, coding, testing, or designing software solutions.
Eight (8) years in the following:
- Utilizing project management tools including Microsoft Project or similar tools.
Five (5) years in each of the following:
- Building or managing the development of service oriented (SOA) distributed systems
- Leading initiatives across multiple organizations
- Building or managing the development of mobile device software or applications.
Three (3) years in each of the following:
