TPM (i.e., Technical Project/Program Manager)  is a technical role who has some experience in Embedded Development along with Broadband

Program Management

ยท       Strong Program Management skills. Should be able to manage the scope, timeline and budget working with large number of stakeholders. Should be able to navigate stakeholders to drive the project outcome in an ambiguous environment.

ยท       Tools: Should have worked on JIRA as it is used extensively to track programs , issues etc.,

ยท       Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills as need to talk to a diverse group of stakeholders who are geographically distributed

Technical Excellence

ยท       Should have good technical knowledge of the domain and technologies.

ยท       The person should be able to represent the technical teams in calls and hence should be able understand the technical details of issue and risks arising out of it.

ยท       Experience with Embedded Technologies

Leadership

ยท       Should be able to drive teams towards the goal of the program. Must have led large programs involving geographically distributed teams in their previous experiences.

ยท       Should be comfortable in presenting the status of the program to senior leadership.
