Position Summary

Seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex enterprise technology initiatives from planning through delivery. This role is responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, driving project execution, and ensuring stakeholders remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with enough technical knowledge to effectively engage in discussions involving software development, infrastructure, architecture, networking, and enterprise systems. This individual will serve as the central point of coordination across technical and business teams while maintaining project momentum, managing risks, and delivering successful outcomes.


Job Description

  • Lead multiple concurrent enterprise IT projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Coordinate activities across development, infrastructure, architecture, networking, data, business, and vendor teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, executive updates, governance reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, action items, and critical path activities.
  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and financial tracking.
  • Drive both Agile and Waterfall project delivery efforts.
  • Partner with technical teams to understand solution approaches and ensure project objectives remain aligned.
  • Work with vendors and external partners to support successful project execution and delivery.
  • Monitor project health, identify roadblocks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure accountability across project teams and maintain focus on delivery commitments.
  • Prepare project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience managing enterprise technology projects.
  • Proven experience delivering application development, infrastructure, networking, system implementation, or cross-functional IT initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, SDLC principles, and enterprise delivery practices.
  • Experience leading projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to understand and follow technical discussions involving developers, engineers, architects, and technology stakeholders.
  • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, resources, vendors, and project governance activities.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence teams, adapt to changing priorities, and drive execution in fast-paced environments.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
