Job description

Joining Collibra's People Solutions team
You'll join a team that's moving beyond basic SaaS administration into a strategic People function where automation drives real efficiency for our global workforce
You'll report to the Senior Manager, People Solutions, and own meaningful pieces of our Workday ecosystem with real room to grow into broader scope over time this role is built as a growth path, not a fully-loaded seat from day one
Values in action: We show up to win for this team, that means applying the same rigor to every build and configuration change, whether it's visible to many people or few
This is a hybrid role based in our Raleigh office. Our hybrid model means you'll work from the office at least two days each week. This setup helps us stay connected, work more closely together, and keep making progress as a team.
Senior People Technology Analysts at Collibra are responsible for
  • Building automations and agentic workflow prototypes, using tools like Workato and Claude, that connect Workday, an applicant tracking system, and other People Technology systems
  • Owning Workday business process configuration and security group architecture, including periodic access reviews and segregation-of-duties checks
  • Developing Workday reports and calculated fields that give stakeholders data they can act on and trust
  • Partnering with People and Places, IT, and other teams to troubleshoot complex configuration and data issues, and testing and deploying new functionality without breaking what's already in place
  • Extending that builder mindset beyond core HRIS admin prototyping automations for People Operations processes like talent acquisition or onboarding wherever manual work is slowing the team down
You have
  • Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes (security architecture experience is a plus, not required we're open to candidates ready to grow into it)
  • Experience building Workday reports or calculated fields, or strong aptitude to grow into this quickly
  • Experience with an iPaaS/automation tool such as Workato is a plus
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse or similar) is a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
You are
  • Comfortable translating technical configuration changes for non-technical business partners
  • Proactive about data integrity, with good judgment on ambiguous configuration requests
  • Excited to build with tools like Claude and Workato, and to look for automation opportunities beyond your immediate team
  • Genuinely energized by growth eager to turn a strong Workday foundation into broader ownership over time
  • A clear, collaborative communicator across technical and non-technical teams
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will get oriented in our Workday, ATS, and Workato environment, shadow existing automations and business process configuration, and complete security and access training
  • Within your third month, you will have shipped your first Workato automation or agentic workflow, and be independently handling configuration and reporting requests for your area
  • Within your sixth month, you will have built at least one automation that extends beyond Workday and your ATS into another People Operations process, such as talent acquisition, and taken on growing ownership of business process and security scope
Compensation for this role
The standard base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.
In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive total rewards package, including bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
