Job Location: Greenwich

Salary Range: $167,000 - $225,000

Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Senior Project Superintendent is responsible for providing overall administrative and technical management of the construction project. The Senior Project Superintendent manages all onsite construction activities including self-perform labor, subcontractors and consultants to successfully execute large and complex projects. 

Responsibilities / Essential Functions 
  • Proficient in all 5 areas of focus on their project:  
  • Safety, schedule, cost, quality, Raving Fans  
  • Recognized as a leader in at least one area of focus.   
  • Recognized as a potential General Superintendent candidate.  
  • Aptitude to manage beyond the day to day on a single project.   
  • Successful at developing others.  
  • Show a passion for having an impact on the company.  
  • Contributes to the company outside of project responsibility.  
  • Takes a leadership role in one or some of Consigli's 15 Fundamentals.    
  • Contributes to accomplishing Field Operations Department goals/company goals.  
  • Attend and provide expertise on quality Pre-ops for high-risk scopes of work on projects company wide.  
  • Focus on developing others:  
  • Lead training.  
  • Be a mentor and be mentored.  
  • Review and complete annual reviews for direct reporting employees.  
  • Attend quarterly Senior Project Superintendent meetings and identify the following: 
  • Areas for company-wide improvement.  
  • Field Ops interaction with other departments.  
  • Review current SOPs for areas of improvement.  
  • Create a personal plan including periodic discussion with General Superintendent on career pathway.  
  • Interface with client representatives, A-E representatives, other contractors, and various building officials professionally.   
  • Participate in business development.  Create Raving Fans on current projects.  Utilize contacts to initiate leads for future projects.   
  • Participate in quarterly superintendent and safety meetings and periodic training sessions.

Required Experience
  • 5-10 years in Project Superintendent Role. 
  • Understands building plans and specifications. 
  • Safety standards knowledge and enforcement, OSHA 30 required. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Corporate Safety Program.   
  • Supervisors License or equivalent (general knowledge of the local building code) in preferred location.  
  • Working knowledge of CPM schedule.   
  • Working knowledge of cost report and labor production report.   
  • Thorough knowledge of corporate quality program.   
  • Thorough knowledge of subcontract language.
