Job Description:
Serves as a Program Analyst within the Precision Guided Munitions and Rockets (PGMR) Product Office of the Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office, providing comprehensive program management and operational support to the Assistant Product Manager (APM) for the Extended Range-Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (ER-GMLRS), a designated Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP).
The incumbent directs daily operational, technical, and programmatic activities, ensuring the successful development and production of ER-GMLRS through the integration of the Enhanced Alternative Warhead and Assured-Precision, Timing, and Navigation (A-PTN) capabilities.
Responsibilities:
  • Orchestrating the complex materiel release process, managing future Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and facilitating seamless coordination between internal functional areas, external government agencies, military organizations, and prime contractors.
  • The position is instrumental in the execution of tactical and strategic planning.
  • The development of high-level decision briefings and budget analyses.
  • The implementation of rigorous risk mitigation strategies to align program requirements with evolving warfighter needs.
  • A highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable individual who has comprehensive knowledge of SOW areas and performs specialty engineering or analysis.
  • Carries out complex or novel assignments or performs work of a specialized nature.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others, able to utilize, operate, and analyze complex systems.

Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience or Bachelors and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have an active DOW Secret or higher security clearance.
  • Must have three (3) or more years' experience working in a Department of War (DOW) acquisition organization.
  • Must have three (3) or more years' experience in developing track budgets and spend plans.
  • Must have at least one (1) year experience in working with DOW agencies and external stakeholders related to weapon system hardware development.
  • Must have three (3) or more years' experience supporting tactical and strategic planning.
  • Must have three (3) or more years' experience responses to internal and external taskers.
  • Must have at least one (1) supporting risk assessment functions.
