Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for a top World-Class Production Facility client.

This key role leads the automation strategy, OT cybersecurity initiatives, and process control improvements to enhance plant reliability, efficiency, and data-driven performance. The Senior Engineer is responsible for translating complex operational needs into cutting-edge control system solutions and providing high-level technical expertise across multiple automation platforms and control architectures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex automation systems, including DCS, SCADA, MES, and data historians.
  • Maintain all process control systems to ensure robust product quality and operational stability across the facility.
  • Embed robust Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity controls and prevention practices into daily operations and system design.
  • Lead process control input for all capital projects, site expansions, and major technology transitions.
  • Standardize systems, procedures, and controls to maximize plant reliability and consistency.
  • Solve high-level technical issues across diverse automation platforms and complex control architecture.
  • Support data analytics and integrate tools that enhance visibility into process performance metrics.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively across all disciplines (process, quality, performance, instrumentation).

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Controls or Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience
