Job description

Job Title: Process Engineer

Department: Management

Classification: Exempt


Tex Tech is a leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of advanced coating solutions and high-performance textile materials. We are seeking a Process Engineer to support manufacturing operations, optimize production processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement programs that improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize manufacturing losses.

• Analyze manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and cost performance.

• Conduct process and product audits and support quality and compliance initiatives.

• Lead process improvement projects focused on safety, delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Support new product development and coordinate manufacturing implementation activities.

• Collaborate with production leadership to troubleshoot operational issues and improve manufacturing performance.

• Assist with scheduling, raw material planning, and production support activities.

• Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to manufacturing personnel.

• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.

• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and quality assurance.

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and CMMS/EAM software preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment with variable temperatures, moving equipment, and forklift traffic.

• Required use of PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, and respirators as needed.

• Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
