NAVA Software solutions is looking for a MS Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant
Details:

Duration : 6-12 months
Location: Remote
We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to join our ERP delivery practice. This role is ideal for someone who can lead client engagements, configure and implement BC solutions, and contribute to internal process improvements and best practices.
As a key member of our ERP consulting team, you'll spend your time designing solutions, leading discovery and implementation sessions, and configuring Business Central environments to meet client requirements. You'll also mentor junior consultants,
support presales efforts, and help evolve our ERP delivery tools and methods. This role is a blend of client-facing consulting, solution architecture, and functional
delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or support full-cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations across finance, operations, inventory, and project/service
    modules
  • Facilitate discovery workshops and stakeholder interviews to assess current state and define business requirements
  • Translate requirements into system configuration and functional documentation
  • Configure Business Central modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs, Warehousing, etc.)
  • Support data migration, integrations, and report delivery working alongside our technical teams
  • Conduct end-user training and develop process documentation
  • Troubleshoot post-go-live issues and serve as a subject matter expert to client teams
  • Contribute to internal tools, delivery accelerators, and ERP best practices at organization
  • Collaborate with the Power Platform, CRM, and Azure practices on multi-platform implementations
  • Stay current on Microsoft roadmap updates, new BC features, and ISV solutions

Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
  • Functional expertise in at least two of the following areas: Financial Management, Inventory & Supply Chain, Jobs/Projects, Sales &Purchasing, Warehousing
  • Experience leading client workshops and translating business processes into ERP design
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, and Azure Active Directory
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or client engagements simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate
  • Experience with Jet Reports, third-party BC apps, or Power Platform integrations
  • Experience with nonprofit, manufacturing, or logistics industries
  • Exposure to Business Central AL extensions, integration architecture, or data migration tooling
  • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and role-based security configuration
