Your Mission: The Sr. Executive Assistant serves as a strategic and administrative partner to senior and executive leadership, providing advanced executive, operational, governance, and administrative support within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role operates with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, judgment, initiative, and organizational awareness while supporting enterprise priorities, Executive Services operations, board and committee coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. While all Sr. Executive Assistant roles maintain shared enterprise support responsibilities, this position includes a specialized focus area supporting legal, governance, and compliance-related administrative coordination.

Enterprise Strategy & Executive Alignment

  • Supports execution and alignment of enterprise priorities, strategic initiatives, and leadership objectives.
  • Assists in translating leadership direction into structured coordination, communication, and operational follow-through.
  • Coordinates calendars, meetings, travel, presentations, and related logistics in support of executive and departmental operations.

Governance, Legal & Board Infrastructure

  • Supports board, committee, governance, and legal-related meetings and activities.
  • Coordinates agendas, packets, minutes, governance materials, and follow-up documentation.
  • Assists with management of governance, compliance, legal, and corporate records.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Administrative Operations

  • Facilitates coordination across departments to support enterprise-wide alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Coordinates special projects, leadership workflows, and administrative initiatives across supported functional areas.
  • Maintains administrative systems, tracking tools, and operational support resources that promote continuity and responsiveness.

Documentation, Knowledge Management & Administrative Continuity

  • Supports records management, policy resources, institutional knowledge systems, and administrative continuity practices.
  • Prepares reports, briefing materials, presentations, and organizational documentation in support of leadership activities.
  • Maintains organized documentation and records systems that support accessibility, consistency, and continuity across Executive Services operations.

Process Improvement & Administrative Effectiveness

  • Identifies opportunities to enhance workflows, coordination practices, and service delivery within assigned functional areas and Executive Services operations.
  • Assists in implementing process improvements and administrative standards that promote consistency, responsiveness, and operational efficiency.
  • Supports refinement of documentation practices, workflow systems, and operational processes to strengthen continuity, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant executive support experience will be considered.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAP, PMP, governance administration, legal administrative credentials, or comparable professional development) are a plus.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience providing executive-level administrative and operational support to senior leaders or executive leadership teams required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting board, committee, governance, legal, compliance, executive office, or enterprise administrative operations preferred.
  • Prior experience in healthcare, nonprofit, legal, regulated, governance-intensive, or highly confidential environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating complex executive workflows, sensitive documentation, cross-functional initiatives, and enterprise-level administrative activities preferred.
