Job description

ChargePoint is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Document Control Specialist (DCS) team. As a member of our DCS team, you will be a driving force in the efficient tracking and management of engineering changes, while helping build the future of electric vehicle charging.

Senior Manager, PLM/MCAD

What You Will Be Doing

The DCS team works closely with our product design, hardware design, program management, and operations organizations and plays a direct role in the execution of ChargePoint's products. We are seeking a confident and personable individual who has exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Understanding product structures, assemblies, PCBAs, etc
  • Working with mechanical and electrical engineering, program management, and operations to understand the program schedule
  • Ensuring responsible deliverables are completed on time in support of the program schedule
  • Driving an efficient part release/documentation process
  • Create and maintain product Bill of Materials (BOM) configurations and product structures
  • Creation and processing of Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
  • Creation of part numbers
  • Develop and maintain strong functional relationships across multidisciplinary teams to effectively manage, track, and execute changes and expedite product deliveries
  • Receive, process, manage, control, track, and archive company and/or customer documents while also ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of Arena PLM
  • 5+ years of PLM / Document Control / Change Management / Configuration Management experience
  • Excellent collaboration, communication & problem-solving skills

The ideal candidate is proficient in:

  • Product Lifecycle Management fundamentals, including part number schemes, release processes, revision control, change management, BOM management, supplier collaboration etc.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) configurations and product structures 
  • Change management
  • Arena PLM software
Location

US Remote (Working PST Hours)

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $70,000 to $115,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits, or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and specific work location.
