Job Description

Minimum Requirements:
1. 3+ years' experience working in report development
2. 2+ years' experience working on ETL tools - SSIS preferred.
3. At least 2-year experience of development using Microsoft .NET framework preferred
4. Outstanding SQL programming skills, with ability to write advanced queries, read data models, and understand dimensional table relationships
5. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with VBA's and Macros, Pivot tables and Pivot Reporting highly desirable.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Excellent with SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014, including writing T-SQL, with ability to write stored procedures, CTE's, user defined functions & SQL queries
8. Ability to develop and understand complex database models, SQL Queries, and SSRS reports
9. Ability to develop dynamically parameterized, drill down, matrix, and chart SSRS reports
10. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to trace report performance issues to root cause.
11. Strong experience using SSRS report manager and report viewer
12. Strong discipline in full life cycle development
13. Good understanding of Project Management Methodology.
14. Experience working in Financial, HR and Payroll preferred but not required

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, modify, and implement reports using SSRS, and Power BI
  • Deliver accurate and timely ad-hoc extracts that support different business requirements
  • Communicate with business owners and project managers defining report requirements and creating effective solutions for those requirements.
  • Resolve report performance issues.
  • Perform data integrity and audit checks to ensure accuracy of reports.
  • Support and performs software life-cycle development.
  • Ensure standards and best practices used in development are followed and maintained
  • Work directly with business users in understanding the needs of the business and developing innovative, effective, and efficient SSRS reporting solutions to meet these requirements
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports, and develop strategies for enhancing and improving the performance of these reports
  • Increase and enhance the developed reporting documentation effectiveness, thoroughness, and organization.
