An experienced software developer who will work under the direction and partnership with software architects and information modelers to develop, implement and test software solutions for Honeywell's data platform and enabling services.
Basic qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years' experience in C# , C++, Java
• 3 + years' experience in web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, node.js, PHP/Ruby on Rails)
• Web or consumable services/API development experience (REST API, JSON, AMQP)
• Experience with cloud technologies
Preferred qualifications
• Experience developing with SQL and RDBMS(s)
• Experience with agile processes and continuous integration tools and techniques
• Experience with Microsoft Azure environment
• Experience with Hadoop and NoSQL related technologies such as Map Reduce, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase, mongoDB, Cassandra
• Experience with data modeling tools in Python, R, SPSS, MLib, matlab etc
• Experience working with large data sets for client-side display and manipulation, graphing, and data visualization in small or large-screen formats a plus.
