Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist to become part of a successful and established GI program situated on the grounds of a prominent hospital in Springfield, Missouri. This facility is an 880-bed Level I trauma center, recognized as the leading referral center in the region.

This role is part of a physician-led group that emphasizes fairness, efficiency, and long-term stability. Physicians have a significant voice in operational matters and equity within the practice.

  • 880 acute care bed hospital with Level I trauma designation

  • System-wide EPIC electronic medical records

  • Established referral network from a large multispecialty group

  • On-site clinic and endoscopy center for streamlined operations

What This Position Provides:
  • $700,000 guaranteed salary plus a $50,000 bonus

  • Four-day workweek with predictable scheduling

  • Call schedule of 1:8, supported by a robust cross-coverage culture and advanced practice provider assistance

  • Immediate access to a full clinic and endoscopy volume due to high demand

  • Strong and consistent referral base from a large regional network

  • No cap on earnings with potential to reach upper-quartile to top-decile income

  • Efficient endoscopy unit with reliable access and protected block time
