Job description

Resonetics is a leader in micro-manufacturing for the life sciences industry, delivering cutting-edge solutions in precision laser processing, advanced automation, and high-tech engineering.


We are seeking a motivated IT Intern to join our team for Summer 2026 (approximately June–August). This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment and provides exposure to enterprise IT operations within a global manufacturing and life sciences organization.

The IT Intern will support day-to-day IT activities while gaining practical experience across infrastructure, applications, data management, and end-user support. This role also offers exposure to broader areas of the MedTech business through our global intern and co-op program.


Under the guidance of IT managers and senior team members, the IT Intern will:

  • Assist with basic IT support tasks, including troubleshooting end-user issues under supervision
  • Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes (documentation, checklists, coordination)
  • Perform data entry, validation, and reporting activities related to IT systems and projects
  • Contribute to documentation efforts, including runbooks, procedures, and internal guides
  • Help maintain IT asset tracking, inventory records, and system data
  • Participate in IT projects through research, testing, and preparation activities
  • Shadow IT professionals across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data functions
  • Support Project Managers in deploying technology solutions across Resonetics sites in the U.S.
  • Assist with processing software requests and IT service tasks

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize data using Excel or similar tools

  • Ability to work in an office environment and use standard computer equipment for extended periods

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $22.00–$26.00, based on experience and qualifications.
