What you will do:
  • Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.
  • Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
  • Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves:
  • This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
  • May need to possess current CPR
  • Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
  • Speak read and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
  • Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
