Full Time Supervisor, Rides

What you get to do:
As Full Time Rides Supervisor at Sesame Place, you'll oversee Rides operations, staffing and training to ensure memorable and positive experiences for both our Guests and Ambassadors You will:

  • Coordinate and implement all aspects of the company department trainings & certifications including Rides Policy & OJT
  • Ensure compliance with all Sea World standards, policies, and procedures
  • Work with the Rides Manager to monitor department hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing levels are met
  • Partner with the scheduling team to maintain and edit schedules to meet business needs
  • Complete ambassador in-park auditing for safety, guest service, and ensuring SOP compliance
  • Lead and develop part-time Rides leadership
  • Participate in Department and Park Duty Manager shifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What it takes to succeed:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must have at least two (2) years of Park Operations leadership experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds are a plus
  • Must be able to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with high aptitude for computer software systems
  • A passion for customer service
  • Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Active listener with the ability to anticipate guests' needs
  • Flexibility to perform varied duties

What else is important:

  • Be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
  • Able to complete provided CPR/AED training/certification
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members
  • Able to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
  • Able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
  • Perform cleaning duties; including use of cleaning chemicals and using the proper PPE
  • Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
