ABOUT THE POSITION

As one of Columbia Sportswear's Executive Assistants, you'll be the right hand to the company's executive leaders. You'll be relied on to balance a broad scope of administrative functions, confidential communications, and proprietary information. Your scope of work will include secretarial ownership, management of routine office matters, and coordination & engagement on special projects.In this role, you will be supporting the SVP, Chief Technology Officer and the SVP, Chief HR Officer.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Protect executive focus through strategic calendar management that prioritizes revenuedriving work, partner alignment, and decisionmaking moments.

  • High level management of complex ever changing calendars for multiple executives.

  • Enable fast, clear communication across teams by synthesizing updates, surfacing risks, and ensuring leaders have the right context at the right time.

  • Lead operational excellence by owning business cadences, leadership meetings,offsitesand department-widemeetings for technologyand HR

  • Excellence in event coordination, resourcefulness, and organization is critical tooperatingeffectively and supporting the team ata high level.

  • Build strong partner relationships to influence without authority and ensure seamless collaboration across functions.

  • Identifygaps and streamline processes & meetings to reduce friction, improve speed, and support a highvelocity retail environment.

  • Model judgment, discretion, and calm in a fastmoving, customercentric business where priorities shift quickly.

  • Success in this role requires being highly flexible, adapting quickly to change, andmaintainingcomposure in fastmoving situations.

YOU ARE

  • A highly motivated self-starter who can work with a minimum level of supervision.

  • Proactive at problem solving and making independent judgments.

  • Coordinate varying styles of meetings including but not limitedto-department meetings, staff meetings, onsite/offsite meetings etc.Coordinating agenda,notesand communications.

  • A rapport builder, exercising strong interpersonal skills and the ability toestablishand maintain excellent working relationships across the organization.

  • A wordsmith, crafting clear correspondence and communications.

  • Organized, prioritizing competing tasks with confidentiality, accuracy, and efficiency.

  • Resourceful and at times scrappy when needed.

  • Adept at booking not only executivetravel butcommunicate andplanextensive team travel spanning through multiple regions.

YOU HAVE

  • High school or equivalent degree.

  • Minimum5-7years'workexperienceat C-Suitelevel,providing senior level administrative support in progressively responsible positions.

  • Experience in a publicly held companyis highlydesired.

  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote/Drive,Microsoft Copilot) withanability to create presentations using PowerPoint and/or other presentation software.

  • Strong familiarity with calendaring, event planning, simultaneouslymanage&supportmultiple projects, and understanding what motivates people and teams.

  • Experience managing expense reporting strongly preferred.
