Job description

The Retail Warehouse Supervisor for the Brisbane Warehouse is responsible for supervising warehouse operations that include inbound and outbound merchandise for Fanatics In-Venue Retail and Events. The Retail Warehouse Supervisor will drive results through coaching to carry out operational excellence expectations. The Retail Warehouse Supervisor provides support to all areas of the company and will drive results through effective communication and a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a winning team.

This position has the potential to occasionally step into the responsibility of driving to and from the Brisbane Warehouse to all Fanatics locations to deliver merchandise to our satellite locations for the Bay Area. 

This position is expected to work a full-time schedule which can include days, nights, and weekends.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated proficiency of Fanatics and Retail operation systems including but not limited to POS, OpSuite, My Playbook, Service Now and OKTA 
  • Communicate expectations for assignments and projects to part-time retail team (Retail Associate/Retail Lead)
  • Provide training and assistance to all part-time retail team (Retail Associate/ Retail Lead)
  • Coach part-time retail team (Retail Associate/ Retail Lead) based on observed job performance and knowledge of operational excellence
  • Oversee warehouse inventory procedures:
    • Oversee front of house operations 
    • Supervise onsite receiving procedures are completed according to protocol 
    • Supervise onsite inventory transfers 
    • Oversee purchase orders for Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants 
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and partner relationships to ensure the Fanatics Brand and Team/League are always positively represented 
  • Understands Fanatics Values and how they relate to their role
  • Perform 'Manager on Duty responsibilities':
    • Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the management team
    • Oversee staff, scheduling, breaks, as needed in coordination with Warehouse Manager
  • Ensure warehouse and delivery truck is properly maintained and organized.

Education, Experience and Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Past experience supervising and managing a team required (1-2 years minimum)
  • Past experience working in retail, sales or warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work extended hours on game days and during events
  • Foreign language skills are a plus
  • Forklift certification is a plus, not required. 
  • If Driver interest is present:
    • Must pass an MVR check
    • Must have a valid license to operate a motor vehicle 
    • Experience driving preferred

Physical Demands: 

  • Regularly required to sit stand, reach, bend and move about the facility as needed
  • Game Day scheduling may have exposure to various weather elements (rainy, windy, cold, high temperatures, etc.) if assigned location is outside of the shop
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $24.64/hour to $30.05/hour, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
