About Skyhawks Sports:

· Skill-based classes and camps across 10 different sports for ages 3 to 14. Sports include Soccer, Track and Field, Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Pickleball

· Early development, game-based SuperTots sports classes for ages 2 to 5

· Teaching life skills through sports

What We Offer:

· Positive Coaching Alliance training

· Curriculum planner for each sport with skills, drills, and games.

· Flexible schedules

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday After School from 3:30pm to 6:30pm and
Saturdays from 9am to 12:30pm
You pick which work weeks to work.

Job Summary:

· Create a safe and inclusive environment for students to participate in sports activities.

· Educate students on the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports.

· Provide guidance and support to participants to help them improve their skills and reach their full potential.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide, inspire, and mentor young athletes.

· Effective Communication: Clear and age-appropriate communication to convey instructions, and feedback and demonstrate skills to students of different ages and skill levels.

· Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt/modify coaching methods based on the age, skill level, and individual needs of the children.

· Positive Reinforcement: Skill in using positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior, effort, and skill development.

· Patience: Ability to remain calm and patient, understanding that children may progress at Safety Awareness: Commitment to creating a safe environment.

· Ethical Conduct: Upholding ethical standards and promoting fair play and sportsmanship.
