Description
The Procurement Manager organizes, verifies and executes the timely procurement/replenishment of raw materials in support of Fanatics domestic production and sub-contractor locations. This position is responsible for achieving and maintaining predetermined inventory levels and service goals in support of the company and departmental goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager and Production Planning Team to identify the raw material replenishment plan, confirming raw material availability and executing the procurement of raw materials with predetermined suppliers.
  • Manage collaboration between supply chain and hub locations for all materials to ensure inventory is supporting the business strategy and markets. This applies to both domestic and non-domestic production.
  • Coordinates procurement activities for all special projects and during special market seasons. Helping to connect procurement into both front and back-end operations as well as aligns materials to support the business.
  • Manages the purchase and replenishment of raw materials, identifies and implements cost reduction efforts, and maintains mainframe/PC based systems to support raw material inventories. This includes all maintenance and set up of raw material id's in FMS and Enovia.
  • Communicates all raw material forecasts to supplies to achieve goals of shortened lead times and appropriate inventory to support Production Planning and Manufacturing. Schedules raw material deliveries to cover the production plan and forecast. Continually work to strengthen our vendor partnerships.
  • Work closely with Finance to develop strategy for inventory reduction of obsolete and unusable inventory.
  • Maintain open communication with Manufacturing and QC and help to resolve any issues experienced with any raw materials.
  • Assist the Product Development team in new raw material development. Help to secure cost and delivery schedules.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 2 - 5  years of  experience. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Experience presenting content in a variety of environments to include business meetings, formations, standup or town hall meetings.
  • Ability to influence peers and leaders across the company to drive the right outcomes; strong and proven influencing skills.
  • Written communication: writes clearly and informatively, presents numerical data effectively, able to read and interpret written information.
