Position Description

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, the Athletics Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Athletics Business Office, including maintaining financial records, managing the deposit and cash collection process, overseeing team supply and equipment purchases, contributing to the development and revision of policies and procedures, and supervising staff and student personnel. The incumbent serves as the department's liaison with other campus units on matters related to accounting, finance, budget, travel, insurance, tax, and human resources. This position is responsible for the personnel and resources of the Athletics Business Office and ensures compliance with university business processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Qualifications

This position requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in operations/financial management or in sport management, including 2 years of progressively responsible and applicable management and/or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
