Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary Sports Medicine team dedicated to a comprehensive, athlete-centered approach to care.

Our program focuses on whole-athlete wellness, including acute medical care, rehabilitation, nutrition, and a strong emphasis on mental health and performance. This is a PRN role with a flexible schedule and no call required. 

Saint Alphonsus Sports Medicine is leading innovation in the market by delivering high-quality services to a wide range of athletic organizations and communities.

We are seeking a Sports Mental Performance Coach who is passionate about supporting the mental health and performance of athletes. This role provides evidence-based, goal-oriented care through individualized and group educational sessions. Services may be delivered both on-site and via telemedicine to best meet the needs of the athletes we serve.

Support:  Sports Medicine department includes Board Certified Sports Medicine physicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Nutritionist, and significant administration support

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Sport Psychology or a closely related field
  • PhD or PsyD (preferred)
  • Current state licensure as needed or indicated by degree (or license-eligible)
  • Training in sport/performance psychology.
  • Experience working with professional athletes and teams (preferred).
  • Experience working with medical professionals on a consistent basis (preferred).
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of theories and practices in the field of Sport Psychology.
  • Willingness to obtain Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC)
  • CMPC (preferred)
