Job Overview:
The Sports Partnerships Specialist supports the development, execution, and optimization of sports-related partnerships, including teams, leagues, events, and athletes. This role focuses on managing day-to-day partnership operations, ensuring seamless execution of sponsorship agreements, and contributing to partnership strategy.
Working cross-functionally, this position plays a key role in delivering high-quality activations, maintaining partner relationships, and driving measurable business impact through sports marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Management & Support
    • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned partners, ensuring strong communication and alignment
    • Support the onboarding and integration of new sports partnerships
    • Assist in contract execution and ensure all partnership deliverables are tracked and fulfilled
    • Serve as a reliable point of contact for partner needs and requests
  2. Activation & Execution (Core Focus Area)
    • Lead coordination of partnership activations, including:
    • Game-day and event activations
    • Digital and social media campaigns
    • Content integrations
    • Hospitality and experiential programs
    • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, legal, events) to deliver campaigns
    • Ensure all activations are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with brand standards
  3. Strategy Support
    • Contribute to partnership planning and ideation sessions
    • Provide input on new sponsorship opportunities and activation concepts
    • Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitor partnerships, and fan engagement strategies
  1. Performance Tracking & Reporting
    • Track partnership performance metrics (engagement, impressions, ROI indicators)
    • Assist in preparing recap reports, presentations, and insights for internal teams and partners
    • Identify opportunities to improve performance and partner value
  2. Operations & Coordination
    • Maintain organized records of contracts, deliverables, timelines, and assets
    • Track budgets, invoices, and partnership-related expenses
    • Ensure all obligations are fulfilled in accordance with agreements

Minimum Qualifications:

    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in sports partnerships sponsorships, marketing, activations, or account management
