Atlantis Orthopaedics is seeking a relationship-focused healthcare professional to serve as our Physician & Community Relations Manager. In this highly visible role, you will represent the practice throughout the community, build and strengthen referral relationships, support physician engagement, and help expand awareness of the exceptional orthopaedic care we provide.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, developing professional partnerships, and serving as a trusted ambassador for a growing healthcare organization. You will work closely with physicians and leadership to strengthen community presence, enhance referral networks, support workers' compensation growth initiatives, and identify opportunities that align with the practice's strategic goals.

Atlantis Orthopaedics, a division of South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is a physician-led orthopedic practice dedicated to delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care through clinical excellence, patient-centered service, and strong community partnerships.


Our providers specialize in orthopaedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, pain management, and related specialties, serving patients throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida.


What You'll Do

Physician & Referral Relations

Build and maintain strong referral relationships with primary care providers, specialists, hospitals, emergency departments, urgent care centers, skilled nursing facilities, therapy providers, and payer networks

Serve as the primary relationship manager for referral sources and strategic partners

Develop targeted outreach plans to increase provider awareness and referral engagement

Support physician onboarding by coordinating introductory meetings, community engagement, and market visibility

Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities to strengthen referral partnerships


Community Engagement & Outreach

Represent Atlantis Orthopaedics at networking events, educational programs, health fairs, sports physicals, sponsorships, and community activities

Build meaningful relationships with community organizations, employers, schools, sports organizations, and healthcare partners

Coordinate outreach initiatives that strengthen brand recognition and community presence

Promote awareness of provider services, specialties, and patient resources

Workers' Compensation & Employer Relations

Lead workers' compensation outreach efforts with employers, carriers, adjusters, nurse case managers, and occupational health stakeholders

Identify opportunities to increase awareness of services and strengthen referral relationships

Support growth initiatives related to occupational medicine and injury management services


Strategic Growth & Business Development

Develop and execute annual outreach and business development plans aligned with organizational goals

Identify growth opportunities and recommend initiatives that support practice expansion

Track outreach activities, referral patterns, and performance metrics

Analyze outcomes and provide concise executive-level reports and recommendations

Manage outreach budgets and evaluate return on investment for marketing, sponsorship, and community initiatives


Marketing & Brand Support

Collaborate with leadership and marketing partners to maintain a consistent and professional brand presence

Coordinate development and quality of marketing materials, patient education resources, and outreach collateral

Evaluate advertising, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Monitor provider profiles, online reputation, and patient feedback trends

Assist with website and social media content planning in collaboration with marketing vendors


Internal Collaboration

Partner with physicians, operational leaders, and Human Resources to support organizational initiatives and employee engagement activities

Participate in staff events, recognition programs, and committees as needed

Serve as a trusted resource to leadership regarding market opportunities and community partnerships

Requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare provider relations, physician liaison services, business development, outreach, healthcare marketing, practice operations, or a related field

Demonstrated success building professional relationships and supporting organizational growth initiatives

Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks and provider engagement strategies

Experience managing projects, budgets, and performance metrics

Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and leadership

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or outreach tracking tools


Preferred

Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field

Orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, surgical specialty, or physician practice experience

Experience with workers' compensation business development and employer outreach

Existing professional relationships within Palm Beach County healthcare markets


Schedule & Travel

Full-time position

Regular local travel throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding communities

Frequent in-person meetings, outreach visits, and community events

Occasional evening and weekend activities based on business needs
