Position: Splunk Developer/Engineer (26-06832)
Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Duration: 12 month contract (ext up to 36 months)
Work Authorization: US,GC, TN, H4, OPT, H1 (must provide card expiration needs to be after 6/23/2027)
Interview Mode: 1 WebEx int and possible 1 in person final interview (they prefer a local profile)

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Developer to support enterprise-wide analytics, dashboard development, reporting, and cloud modernization initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk dashboards, search queries, and reporting solutions across multiple technology teams. The position will play a critical role in supporting the migration of on-premises reporting environments to cloud-based platforms while enabling data-driven decision-making through Splunk and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Splunk dashboards, reports, and search queries
  • Create customized reporting solutions to support multiple business and technology teams
  • Manage and support a large portfolio of dashboards and reporting assets (50-100 dashboards simultaneously)
  • Develop new analytics and reporting capabilities for Microsoft 365 and enterprise messaging platforms
  • Modernize existing on-premises reporting solutions and migrate them to cloud-based platforms
  • Collaborate with technology leaders and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable dashboards and visualizations
  • Utilize Splunk data models, indexes, and search processing language (SPL) to deliver scalable reporting solutions
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions leveraging Dataverse and Power Query
  • Integrate Splunk with enterprise systems including ServiceNow and Microsoft ecosystem tools
  • Support automation initiatives through APIs and platform integrations
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, performance optimization, and data governance standards are maintained
  • Provide ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and operational support for analytics platforms

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience developing solutions in Splunk
  • Strong expertise writing and optimizing Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) queries
  • Experience building and maintaining enterprise-level Splunk dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI development
  • Strong understanding of Power Query and data transformation techniques
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse
  • Experience integrating Splunk with ServiceNow
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting initiatives simultaneously
