Job Summary:
Diverse Lynx is seeking a Splunk Observability Cloud expert to act as a Technical/Solution Expert. The role involves creating and maintaining custom Splunk searches and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide solutions for optimal application monitoring.
Responsibilities:
• Act as Technical/Solution Expert for Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Create and maintain custom Splunk searches, alerts and saved reports to facilitate proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
• Define best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration to help Application Support Team to reduce major incidents, improve MMTR and enhance application monitoring.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to gather requirement and give them Splunk Observability Cloud solutions.
• Fair understanding of cloud services, database and operating systems.
• Experience in integrating tools like ServiceNow, Jenkins, AWS etc. with Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Provide architectural consulting and mentoring to internal teams.
• Coordinate with IT team for seamless integration of Splunk with existing infrastructure/applications.
• Implement advanced search and reporting capabilities using SPL (Search Processing Language).
• Experience in Infra instrumentation into Splunk Observability Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed, high-volume systems.
