Job description

Who are we hiring?

In this role, the Manager, Warehouse Operations has full oversight of the receiving, inventory, storage and distribution of all food, beverage and supplies within Sphere. This role is the primary person to lead the team in all safety protocols and supervises the effort to exceed all Southern Nevada Department of Health requirements.

What will you do?

People Management

  • Create and maintain schedules for Warehouse and Beverage Operations staff based on event need, while tracking attendance and timely payroll processing; continue cross-training program for operational efficiency and labor management.
  • Champion employee safety by identifying risks, promoting safe work practices, and supporting a zero-injury objective.
  • Coach the team on all Southern Nevada Department of Health requirements to surpass requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and grow a team of supervisors to build on established best practices for venues and live entertainment.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site. ย 

Warehouse Operations

  • Leads the daily receiving and storage of a high-volume warehouse with more than 50 trucks a day on average.
  • Oversee all pick up and distribution to over 70 revenue centers in the Sphere.
  • Maintains proper storage practices to ensure all inventory is accurately stored. Adheres to the FIFO method for all Food & Beverage storage and issuance.
  • Oversee the merchandise operation for all consignment events, including receiving, temporary storage, distribution and returns.
  • Strategizes the monthly inventory cycle counting and reconciliations program and acts as the main person for the review and entering of all data.
  • Lead all aspects of Merch Arrival for food & Beverage. Entering invoices, posting transfers, inventory control and verifying shipments.

Beverage Operations

  • Inventory and Ordering of all kegs and soda bibs.
  • Work with vendors to complete preventative maintenance on all bars, coolers, equipment and storage spacesย ย ย 

What do you need to succeed?

  • Knowledge of Southern Nevada Health Food regulations and proper food handling certifications.
  • Learn & master Eatec inventory system to use for all data entry and review.
  • Adheres to TEAM training guidelines.

Special Requirements

  • Lifting 25 lbs. and occasionally lifting objects weighing more.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Certifications:
