Job description

Position Summary
Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer III to support the Administration and Resource Management Division (ARI) within Headquarters, Marine Corps (HQMC). The SharePoint Developer will provide development support using SharePoint, Power Platforms (Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI) and other Microsoft 365 tools (MS Teams, Dynamics, Planner, OneDrive).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain vulnerability remediation for servers in line with cybersecurity requirements and reporting under the Risk Management Framework to maintain an ATO.
  • Configure, Troubleshoot, and Maintain Search Functionality.
  • Coordinate and Collaborate with the Network Infrastructure Team.
  • Design and implement medium to large SharePoint intranet/extranet farm topologies.
  • Assist in solving technical and performance problems within the portal infrastructure.
  • Plan and implement Service Packs and Cumulative Updates of SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server.
  • Create and maintain documentation for SIPR SharePoint infrastructure, deployment, and service specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure and DBA groups on backup/recovery operations and disaster recovery testing related to SIPR SharePoint implementation monthly.
  • Manage service applications, create web applications, configure Alternate Access Mapping (AAM), and manage farm features and solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required
  • 7+ years of experience as a SharePoint Developer, including administration and migration
  • 3+ years of jQuery and/or JavaScript (5 years preferred)
  • 3+ years of SharePoint Web Services/SharePoint Services (5 years preferred)
  • 3+ years of SharePoint REST API (5 years preferred)
  • Strong experience with SharePoint 2013/2016, SharePoint Online (SPO), and Power Platform
  • Proficiency with SharePoint REST API, Web Services, JavaScript/jQuery, .NET, HTML/CSS, SPFx, and PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with WebParts, workflows, and integration with Office products
  • Advanced debugging skills (F12, Fiddler, developer tools)
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 architecture, Power Apps, and Power Automate
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013/2016 Migration to SPO, CEWP, SEWP, workflows, and InfoPath forms
  • Experience with SPFx and C#
  • Working knowledge of integrating third-party tools, such as Nintex, Metalogix, and AvePoint.
  • Experience with the SharePoint app model
  • Working knowledge of C# .Net or VB.Net, Visual Studio 2Kx, SharePoint Object Model, Web Services, XML
  • SharePoint certification (2013, 2016, or SPO)

Clearance Qualifications
  • Must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance
