Who You Are

  • Licensed Electrician — Texas Electrical License (TDLR) required; applicable county/municipality licenses maintained
  • Familiar with NEC standards, Texas state electrical codes, and local building codes in Houston (Harris County), Austin (Travis County), and Dallas (Dallas County)
  • Technically skilled and detail-oriented with a commitment to code-compliant, quality work
  • Collaborative team player with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Excellent communicator — responsive to texts, calls, and emails
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and mobile technology (iPads, iPhones)
  • Able to adapt quickly, troubleshoot independently, and work efficiently across multiple Texas markets
  • Professional, punctual, and takes pride in clean, compliant installations
  • Able to maintain a clean driving record (required for employment)

What You'll Do

  • Install electrical wiring and components per NEC standards and Texas state/local electrical codes
  • Inspect and test systems for full functionality and safety compliance
  • Troubleshoot, document, and repair electrical issues across residential and commercial job sites
  • Use hand and power tools, testing devices, and work with programmable logic controllers
  • Maintain active Texas electrical license (TDLR) and any required county or municipal licenses for Houston, Austin, and Dallas
  • Stay current on Texas-specific code revisions, TDLR updates, and safety regulations
  • Support SPF's installation and service teams across Houston, Austin, and Dallas territories when needed
  • Assist with remeasures on existing or prospective job sites as required to ensure accurate project scoping and installation readiness
  • Learn and utilize SPF's CRM system to communicate effectively with teams, log job details, and update project status
  • Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by the company to support team operations and project success
  • Uphold SPF's 5-star service reputation through professionalism, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer interactions
  • Respond promptly to all communications (texts, calls, emails) from team members and customers
  • Maintain SPF-issued equipment (vehicles, iPads, phones) in excellent working condition
  • Adhere to all company policies, Texas safety regulations, and OSHA standards at all times
