Commercial Pesticide Operator - Licensed Applicator
Openings in Portland/Vancouver area
Join one of Oregons most trusted names in commercial landscape maintenance! Crystal Greens Landscape, a proud Sperber company, is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Commercial Pesticide Operator to support the health and beauty of our clients' trees, shrubs, and turf across the region.
About the Role
As a Pesticide Operator, you'll play a key role in diagnosing and treating plant health issues through the targeted application of herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers. This full-time position offers year-round work.
Responsibilities
  • Safely and effectively apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to commercial landscapes
  • Identify common pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies in turf, trees, and ornamentals
  • Calibrate, mix, and apply treatments in accordance with label requirements and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate application records
  • Operate and maintain spray equipment and company vehicles
  • Provide winter support through snow and ice management operations

Requirements
  • Professional Applicator License required
  • Working knowledge of local pest and disease issues affecting turf, trees, and shrubs
  • Ability to safely mix and apply chemical treatments
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and safety procedures
