Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Gardener to join our landscaping business. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for the landscapes and gardens of our clients. Your expertise in plant care, landscaping techniques, and attention to detail will contribute to creating beautiful and thriving outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities:
  1. Landscape Maintenance:
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning.
    • Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery based on design plans and client preferences.
    • Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as necessary, following safety guidelines.
    • Mulch and amend soil to promote healthy plant growth and prevent weed growth.
    • Monitor plant health, identify pest and disease issues, and take appropriate actions.
    • Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
  2. Garden Design and Installation:
    • Assist in the design and installation of gardens and landscape features.
    • Prepare soil beds, install hardscaping elements, and lay sod or plant seeds.
    • Select and arrange plants based on aesthetic appeal, compatibility, and environmental requirements.
    • Install and maintain landscape lighting systems for enhanced visual appeal.
