Sinomax is currently hiring for Cycle Counter This is a full time position for immediate start! (after background and drug screening). This is a role on first SHIFT, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends based upon Overtime necessity.

Position Summary

Accurate inventory recordkeeping is vital to the optimal operations of our company. This position is responsible to review, troubleshoot, and report all issues impacting inventory accuracy of finished goods and components at plant level.

Position Description

  • Perform daily inventory counts per established company procedures as well as ad hoc requests from management to align and support system inventory levels.
  • Significant use of ERP (SAP) system to perform analysis of inventory issue. Screens used will include: COGI, LL01, MIGO and others.
  • Perform material changes or plant transfer transactions as required.
  • Oversight of inventory count team to ensure quality of work, including daily preparation, review, and acceptance of inventory cycle counts to ensure raw material storage is physically counted at least twice per month.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure:
    • Ongoing training for all warehouse and production staff is relevant to address known issues
    • Accurate and clear labeling of all inventory location
    • Proper stock rotation practices
    • Best practices are used in all inventory transactions
  • Daily reconciliation of transactions in SAP and Apprise (SMX USA ERP) to ensure movements are in balance.
  • Review inventory position, transactions, and activity across multiple systems to troubleshoot inventory issues to root-causes; report findings to cross-functional management teams and collaborate on solutions to avoid repeat of trouble issues/practices.
  • Recommend changes to practices or procedures to avoid repeating issues that negatively impact inventory accuracy.
  • Manage physical inventory system activity at assigned facility.
  • Create work orders in ERP system (Apprise and SAP).
  • Work with production team to ensure work order confirmation accuracy and process PGI.
  • Serve as backup to Receiving clerk.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • 3+ years of inventory related experience in a distribution environment
  • Good communication abilities, both written and oral
  • Excellent math skills
  • Must be able to work independently with little direct supervision
  • Must be able to work quickly and under pressure to deliver findings in a timely manner
  • Must have excellent logic abilities and troubleshooting skills
  • Must have a thorough understanding of inventory transactions and their impact on inventory levels
  • Must work well with others across a spectrum of job roles
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP system
  • Basic Excel skills required
